Below is a List of Our Re-Opening Procedures
  • Vulnerable individuals, such as the elderly (65+) and people with certain underlying medical conditions are welcome. If you feel comfortable attending services, we want you to come! We will continue to have our Sunday services streamed online if you wish to remain at home.

  • We are taking everyone’s temperatures with a touch-less thermometer upon entering the Sanctuary. If you have a fever (even a low-grade one), please stay home.

  • We kindly ask that you wear a mask as you enter, exit, or move about the building.  Once you are seated and socially distanced you may remove your mask.

  • We ask that you sanitize your hands before entering the building. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer available both at the front door and throughout the church.

  • We ask that your children remain with you at all times. There will be no Children’s Church or Nursery until further notice. We pray that NYS continues to be on the downward trend and we can safely offer children’s programs again in the near future.

  • Concerning singing- It has been brought to our attention that people congregating inside church should remain 12ft apart while singing to prevent spreading of any viral particles. We understand this is extremely difficult in a small church like ours. Therefore, we ask that you keep your mask on while singing. OR keep your singing voice lower (less powerful) and remain mask-less. We know this sounds silly, but we are trying to find reasonable solutions to mandated rules in order to keep our doors open. If you cannot keep a mask on due to a health condition, we will try to seat you in an area where there is 12ft of distance. Keep in mind, the front pews are usually open, and provide ample distance to allow for unobstructed singing.

  • Lastly, anyone attending in-person services will be required to fill out a waiver acknowledging the risk of becoming exposed/infected with Covid-19. This is a common procedure that most area churches are adopting and the Elders have decided to follow suit.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE

  • We have taped off certain pews so you can remain 6ft/12ft apart. We will continue to space pews apart as best as we can. However, as time goes on, and more people attend in-person services, social distances will become more challenging.
  • We have removed Bibles and hymnals in the pew. Please bring your own if you wish.
  • There will be no passed materials (such as bulletins), please bring a notepad if you like to take notes!
  • We will have a central offertory basket in a designated location within the church (no passed offertory plate)
  • We also have individually wrapped communion for Communion Sunday.
  • We have a comprehensive cleaning schedule put in place to ensure proper sanitation of all surfaces within our church (including pews).
  • We will have extra masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and tissues on hand.

ABOUT US

Grace Fellowship is home to a diverse group of people, from new believers to devout Christians.

We exist to bring glory to God by planting, watering, and bringing to harvest those whom He has chosen, aiding in the personal growth to maturity every believer we touch through clear, direct, biblical teaching and study, discipleship, encouragement, and friendship.

We strive to deliver God’s pure unblemished gospel through sound doctrine and teaching. We preach the love of Christ as demonstrated by His glorious work on the cross and how this great love still transforms lives today.
