Senior Youth Group
The Senior Youth Group led by Pastor Steve Sumnick and his wife Vanessa generally meets every Sunday from 1:30–3:30. The emphasis is on the practical demonstration of the Christian life expressed in fellowship, prayer, and community service. For ages: 8th grade and 13 by December 31st through 12th grade or 18.
We aim to build godly friendships and a support system for teens to live out their faith in an unfriendly world.
These are some of the Youth Group Events that took place this past year:
Annual Youth Group Ski Trip! President's Day Weekend, 2009
Annual Community Service Events include but are not limited to:
- Operation Leaf Rake - raking leaves in the Fall at local homes of shut-ins or senior citizens;
- 30-Hour Famine - a weekend event to raise funds for over sister church's orphanage in India;
- Operation Park Clean Up - Spring clean-up at Riverside Park;
- World Vision Warehouse - sorting clothes at the World Vision Warehouse in NYC so they can be shipped to need people all over the world.

Annual Activities include but are not limited to:
- Year-End Camp Out last weekend in June
- Dorney Park Trip in July
- Beach Trip in August
- Paintballing in September
- Mall Hunt - a fun activitiy in the Crystal Run Galleria in Middletown in December, always ending with pizza for all the participants!

Junior Youth Group The Junior Youth Group, for ages 10 - 13, also led by Pastor Steve Sumnick and his wife Vanessa generally meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month, from 4 to 6 p.m. Meetings are at the church where children play fun games, do great crafts and enjoy snacks. A main focus of Jr. Youth Group is
to turn the children's attention outside of themselves and take Jesus' love into our community in practical ways, helping the elderly, those in the hospital, or community clean-up projects.
Play Group Play Group is a wonderful group for mothers and their children, infants through Pre-K, engaging young children together in play and craft-making. It is a great time for mothers to get together, debrief, and share godly wisdom. Typically there is a Christmas celebration, a Valentine party and other holiday activities.

Other Annual Youth Events
Vacation Bible School, usually the first week of August. Ages for classes are similar to the Sunday School ages up to the 6th grade. Teens are encourages to take leadership as an assistant to an adult teacher throughout the week or help with skits, recreation, crafts or refreshments.
Revolve Tour, an all-girl, two-day retreat in a large city (like Philadelphia or Hartford) featuring fantastic speakers and Christian singers/musical groups. The speakers address issues pertinent to teen girls. An exciting, fun-filled, yet spiritually meaningful time.
Christmas Play/Pageant, a great relationship-building experience, working together to perform for the delight of parents in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ. Usually for children 6th grade and under.
